I'm super glad you liked the "cheap" makeup post! Got a lot of different answers, but one thing's unanimous: Burt's Bees and Maybelline mascara are the crowd favourites. Will definitely have a go at Burt's Bees lipbalm next time I head over to walmart--I'm almost out of mascara!

But back to the outfit! I can't believe I've never shown you guys this amazing jacket...soft buttery brown leather in the awesomest bomber shape. Can't leave the house without it now, even if the weather is nice. It's a great basic and alternative to a black moto too. (WHERE ARE YOU HIDING?! YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER!)

With the weather being uncharacteristically warm this week , I decided to do a photoshoot outdoors with the stunning Erin and enjoy the nice fall weather. Styled with everything vintage/thrifted, with the exception of the AA shorts.

Here's my new favourite thing I thrifted last week--a jacket so trippy, my friend and I decided to nickname it "the stoner jacket". Absolutely in love with the tie-dye-ish print and purpley-blue colour, as well as the super loose fit.

Seriously though, it's awesome. And totally something I can see American Apparel over-price;)

As promised, here is my costume...you'll be very glad to know I stayed away from all sorts of slutty, cliché halloween disasters and opted for this manly-man of a sexy lumberjack costume. Originally, I wasn't going to dress up as anything, but the day before halloween I walked past some firewood and just decided to GO FOR IT.

Not the most attractive costume per say, but everyone had a good laugh! But what do you think? Are my bulging biceps and beer belly convincing enough for you?
